At Mercy Medical Center – New Hampton, we are
dedicated to providing quality emergency care in an
expedient and compassionate manner. Mercy Medical Center – New
Hampton is a Level IV Community Trauma Center staffed
with well-trained, experienced nurses and paramedics.
Our staff is credentialed in Advanced Cardiac Life
Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS),
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Trauma Nurse
Core Course (TNCC) or Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support
(PHTLS) to care for the emergent/critically ill geriatric,
adult, pediatric and neonatal patient.
New renovations accommodate any trauma or emergency.
Mercy has a general orthopedic surgeon for emergency
surgery.
Mercy Medical Center – New Hampton works closely
with Dr. Joseph Peraud, Trauma Service Medical Director
and the Chickasaw Ambulance Service. We also work with
Level I and II trauma centers in the state to provide
high quality emergency care and to transfer patients
to larger facilities as needed. Annually, Mercy transfers
approximately 150 patients by ambulance and 20 patients
by air.
